2041 School Award - Autumn 2023
This term we have begun working towards the 2041 Schools Award with Oddizzi.
In 2041, the Antarctic Treaty expires and the future of the last great wilderness on earth will be decided. Our pupils will be young adults by then - the decision-makes of the future.
We have joined Oddizzi on an expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula. Together we are exploring what it is like to travel to Antarctica, investigating the animals that call it their home and why it is worth protecting.
We have joined forces with Rob Swan OBE, founder of the 2041 Foundation and the first person in history to walk to both the North & South Pole, as we become 'Champions of Antarctica' and look to preserve this special place.
