The Skelton School Harvest Service was held at St Michael's Church at the end of the first half term. The children entertained the congregation with a selection of songs, readings and poetry. A collection of food was held and this was delivered to the Penrith Foodbank later that same day.
In early October, the Year 5/6 children of Skelton and Patterdale Schools took part in a joint residential visit to Liverpool for three days. Places visited included the Maritime Museum, the Terracotta Warrior exhibition at the World Museum, an open-top bus ride, the Beatles Story, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Anglican Cathedral, Anfield, Chinatown, the Museum of Liverpool and a ride on the Echo Wheel. We all had an amazing time in this fantastic city and all returned tired but with so many happy memories.
