We are the Champions - Four teams of children from Skelton School took part in the Cumbria School Games which takes place annually in Carlisle. Over twenty children from our school competed against hundreds of other children from all over the county in orienteering, tennis and netball. One of our Year 3/4 tennis teams won their tournament whilst our Year 5/6 netball team lifted the trophy for the third year in a row - what an amazing achievement from all of our children - we are SO proud of them all!

Every year, we all really look forward to Skelton Show - it takes place on the first Saturday of July. We produce lots of exhibits at school - paintings, collages, handwriting, poetry and much more. This year, our Inter School Challenge display was on the theme of 'Africa'. The sun shone and we all had a great day out with our families.
