On the first gloriously sunny day of Spring, the annual Skelton Sevens inter-school football and netball tournament took place between ten local schools. Our football team played brilliantly, finishing second in their group and narrowly missing a place in the final. The netball team won their group, progressed to the final and won in a fiercely contested match against Calthwaite. A great afternoon of sport was had by all.

Once again, we welcomed Pete and Fiona from the Eden Valley Sports Partnership to our school to do Bikeability training with our Year 4 and 5 children. The Year 4 children took part in the playground-based Level 4 training whilst the Year 5s took part in the Level 2 course which involved learning to ride their bikes safely on the roads. Well done to all!!
